Did you know that after your initial 90 day waiting period, you have 8 mental health visits per family with your netWell membership that are shareable with your own counselor or therapist? Each visit is shareable up to $40.00 with no visit fee or application to your Member Commitment Portion.
Here are a few health tips for promoting good health as summer begins:
Stay hydrated – As the weather gets warmer, it’s important to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. Aim for at least 8 glasses of water per day, more if you are spending time outdoors or physically active.
Get outside – Take advantage of the longer days and warmer weather by spending more time outdoors. Whether it’s going for a hike, having a picnic in the park, or simply taking a leisurely walk around your neighborhood, being in nature can have numerous health benefits, including reducing stress and improving your mood.
Protect your skin – With increased sun exposure, it’s important to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. Remember to apply sunscreen with at least SPF 30 whenever you’re going outside, and reapply it every few hours, especially if you are sweating or swimming.
Get enough sleep – Prioritize getting enough sleep each night, aiming for 7-9 hours for adults. Establish a relaxing bedtime routine and create a comfortable sleep environment to ensure quality rest.
By incorporating these tips into your routine, you can stay healthy and happy throughout the month. However, if you have non-emergency concerns come up, don’t forget that you have access to Telemedicine and Telecounseling services 24/7/365 and you are typically put in contact with a physician by phone or video conference within 30 minutes.
