Here are a few health tips for promoting good health as summer begins:

Stay hydrated – As the weather gets warmer, it’s important to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. Aim for at least 8 glasses of water per day, more if you are spending time outdoors or physically active.

Get outside – Take advantage of the longer days and warmer weather by spending more time outdoors. Whether it’s going for a hike, having a picnic in the park, or simply taking a leisurely walk around your neighborhood, being in nature can have numerous health benefits, including reducing stress and improving your mood.

Protect your skin – With increased sun exposure, it’s important to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. Remember to apply sunscreen with at least SPF 30 whenever you’re going outside, and reapply it every few hours, especially if you are sweating or swimming.

Get enough sleep – Prioritize getting enough sleep each night, aiming for 7-9 hours for adults. Establish a relaxing bedtime routine and create a comfortable sleep environment to ensure quality rest.

By incorporating these tips into your routine, you can stay healthy and happy throughout the month.
